My Lamborghini blasted as I slammed my foot to the floor. I was more ready than I have ever been in my life! This is what I've been waiting for for months. Judgement Day.
It all started as a car lover like me. And after I got to 6 speeding tickets and went to jail. My parents sent me to live with my Aunt Kathy in Miami. Aunt Kathy owned a string of restaurants in Miami, Tampa, and Orlando. I was working up to a manager of three of the restaurants she owns. I was going to be making quite a lot of money, but before that I would have to find a way to make money, fast drag racing.
It was a few weeks before I met Wan. Wan was a Japanese Indy car racer but retired to be a parent and focus on his managing career. But Wan had a secret life. He ran the N.N.O.C. Solidarity. A bunch of drag racers but illegal ones for profit. That night I met Wan.
When I saw him, he was dressed impressively in a gucci suit, gucci shoes, and everything else gucci. "Hey, you made it!" Wan shouted in excitement. He said, "You need a nickname before you go out there and race." "What?" I screamed. "Oh, sorry I forgot to mention tonight's your first race." "If you win you get a jacket with a badge saying you're an official member of the N.N.O.C." "Okay. I'm ready" I said quietly.
He gave me two options, a tricked out 2010 Dodge Viper or a 1998 Allison Skyline. I chose the Skyline and before you knew it, the race began.
A short race through the what I call "Slums." I won.
And when the lights went off in the parking garage and everybody left me, Wan and a few other races sat and drank Red Ball. When it was only me and Won and when were headed to our cars, Wan said, "Oh, I almost forgot your nickname." "Un...M.Crazy" I replied. Wan chuckled and said, "Okay, Mcrazy, see you Tuesday sometime" he said back. "Okay, see you later." I said. He waved and I pulled out the parking garage.
When I got back to the house, the clock said 2:39. "Just in time." I thought to myself. Aunt Kathy was on the couch asleep and chocolate turtles were sitting on the table. The T.V. was on too. I put a blanket over her and and turned off the T.V. And put the turtles in the fridge, ate one, got a Coke, and went to sleep.
When I woke up the next morning, the next morning I got up, ate breakfast, and got in the car. I was in my last year of college at KU but I had to get my degree at the University of Miami. Luckily all my classes are in the morning. And before you knew it, class was over.
When I got back to the house, Wan was waiting on me and in style. A Lamborghini Murcielago roadster was sitting outside. "Mcrazy come on, we gotta talk." "Hold on just a second," I replied. I set down my books and called Aunt Kathy to tell her I was going to be with some friends.
"You wanna drive?" Wan offered.
"Heck ya!" I said.
I lifted up the doors and went flying down the freeway. He told me to drive to Miami Beach. When we got into the parking garage, we went into a apartment. When I got out the Lamborghini, so he told me to pop the trunk.
Inside was a Louis Vuitton duffle bag. "I'm surprised it isn't gucci" I said. Wan chuckled and said "Once I show you what's in there you'll be able to guy lots of those bags." I became frightened, who knew what was in there.
Wan knocked on the door of the condo. A young woman opened the door and she and Wan hugged. When we got into the apartment the woman said, "Who's your friend?" "Mcrazy introduce yourself," he said. "Hey, I'm Mcrazy but you can call me Mase," I said. "Nice to meet you, I'm Asia." "Did I tell you he won his first race?" Wan interrupted. "Wow, what'd you drive?" Asia asked. "Nissan Skyline" I said. We sat down at the table and Wan opened the duffle bag. Tons of money was just sitting there just waiting to be spent. Wan handed me a wad of cash. "100,000" he said. He was speechless. Asia called out from the kitchen, "Do you guys want a drink?" "Coke." I yelled back. "Me too." Wan yelled.
When she came in the room, she had two cans of Coke. Once we finished me and Wan left. Before that, Asia gave me a slip of paper with a number on it. "Call me if you need some racing lessons" said Asia.
The next week was my Birthday. My Uncle Tyson, Aunt Kathy, and my cousins Brianna and Rodney all told me Happy Birthday. And since I kept using my uncle's cars a lot they bought me my own car. A Range Rover came Tuesday, the day of my second race.
It was a hectic day. That day Wan told me he would pick me up at at 1:00am. My school was out for Thanksgiving, so I called off work and called Asia, she said she would have 2 cars ready and to meet here where I did my first race.
She had a Ford GT and a Dodge Viper SRT. She taught me everything, speed, drifting, and drag racing. And then finally we would race, and of course I won. After we finished, I got a call from Wan he said to meet him at his house and to hurry. I quicky hopped in the Range Rover and pulled out the parking garage.
As I drove I talked to Wan using the phone system in my Range Rover and he gave me directions. I pulled up to a luxurious glass house. I pressed the red button on the gate after it opened I parked by the garage. I saw lots of cars sitting there like a ferrari, a Lamborghini, a BMW, and more cars. I rang the doorbell. A woman was standing at the front of the door. "Yes, can I help you?" she asked. "I'm here to talk to Wan" I said. "Hold on." said the woman. "Wan! Someone's at the door." And he approached the door.
I walked inside, everything was nice, the refrigerator, the living room, everything. Wan led me to his garage and closed it. "Listen, I invited you over here so we can talk." said Wan. "To talk about what?" I interrupted. "I wasn't finished" Wan said, frustrated.
"You're not a member yet, because that race you did last week was counted as a foul. See you finished the race but I got in trouble because I'm not supposed to give my racer's cars with Nitrous." "So you're gonna have a judgement day and if you win this race you're a member. But if you don't win you can quit or keep working at it."
"So can I keep my money?" I asked. "Yeah" Wan said.
As he walked to the door, I asked, "Who's that woman that opened the door?"
"My Girlfriend" said Wan.
"I thought you were married?" I asked.
"I'm divorced," Wan replied. "I had known a few people who had gotten busted by a undercover cop."
"What's her name?" I asked.
"Egypt" Wan said.
I left and went home.
The next few months I was juggling work, school, and racing. It finally came the day I had been waiting for. I pulled into the garage at 1:30 a.m., and met Wan. Egypt was with him. A Lamborghini Gallardo was my car (of my choice of course).
I sat at the starting line in the car. I quickly revved loud and hard. And my Lamborghini blasted as I slammed my foot to the floor. I was more read than I had ever been in my life. That is what I've been waiting for, for months. Judgement Day. I shifted gars and drove past cars and zipped and zoomed through the neighborhood. And I was at the finish line. I had won! I was so ecstatic.
I pulled into the parking garage and Wan came and hugged me. And then the worst thing happened. Egypt pulled out a gun and badge and screamed, "FBI everybody on the ground." Then things got more scarier. More cops were coming. People ducked and screamed in horror. Wan ran to the Lambo and told me to hop in. He hit high gear and speed off. And then I felt the car flip over and I was sitting in the back of a ambulance and I opened my eyes.
