The Great Runaway
The door of my room slammed and I ran to my drawer, opened it up, and got my scrapbook. I looked at the pictures, then I ripped it and throw it at my wall yelling, "I hate you!I hate you!" Then my foster Mom came upstairs and said, "Shut it! I don't like you anymore than you like me! And then she stormed out of my room and shut the door. I opened my new journal and wrote.
Dear Journal,
Why would my Mom give me to these people. I hate them. I loved my Mom she put her little daughter here. But I can't live with her, she's...dead. I at least want to know how but my foster parents will not tell me. I have to go to dinner so bye.
From, Olivia
I rushed down to dinner. "What are we having, Julie?" I asked.
"Call me Mom and we're having chicken." Julie said.
I ately quietly and went back upstairs to my room. It was ten o'clock and it was Thursday. So went to bed. Then I woke up and my house was on fire. I was stuck in the middle. I heard Julie on the other side yelling "Forget the girl, get the cat." "No, get me! Save me! Please!" I yelled. Buzz, Buzz, Buzz. Then I woke up. It was 4 a.m. That's when I decticed. I turned around and went to sleep.
When my alarmed beeped I woke up and figured out that the noise I heard in the night was my phone. I hopped out of my bed, and got ready, ate, said bye, and left. I got on my bus on the way to tenth grade. I is October 14 so I plenty use to the noise.
"Hi Olivia. Finally bothered to put on make-up?", laughed Ella. I rushed to the back. I could feel my face getting red. Oh how I dislike her. I hate seventh grade. I got off the bus and went in to homeroom. My teacher for this class is Mrs. Laborky. I sat, pulled out my journal, and wrote.
Chapter 2, The Plan
Dear Journal,
I finally decided I'm going to pursue my greatest dream. It will happen at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. This weekend. Finally.
I heard the bell ring, put up my things, and went to my first hour, which is Math.
"Hi Class! Take a seat. Today we will learn about digital roots. Yay!" said Mrs. Callie as she ran around the room shouting "Yay Math, yay! Oh how I love Math, Yay!"
The whole school day was a blur of learning, writing, taking notes, and leaving!
When I got home, I went to the pantry and got crackers, two slim jims, a apple, napkins, chocolate, beef jerky, animal crackers, and ten water bottles. Then I went to my Mom's purse and got money. 10, 20, 40, 60, 65, 75, 95, 100, 200, 250, 255, 275, 295, $300! Then I went to my Dad's wallet and got $300 more bucks, 600 total. I put all the junk in my backpack. Since it was Saturday, 3:50, I left early. I knew I had to do this...Runaway.
Chapter 3, Life in the Outdoors
I left out the door quietly. I knew where to go. Since I am in St. Louis, I was going to pay my older sister I visit in Chicago. Finally, I'd meet her. I looked her up on the internet and got her address. After all, she is a famous artist. I headed down the street. Then I stopped and saw it, a man in black. He jumped up, and grabbed me and took me into a car. He swung a bat and hit me. That's the last thing I remember.
